The Plot
The plot follows three parallel destinies: A boy and a girl from Bulgaria, who grew up in an orphanage starting from absolute zero, and a young man from post-war Bosnia and Herzegovina carrying the scars of a torn country.

In search of a better life, all three heroes find themselves in the countries of the Western developed world - a place that the author calls "Sisyphean islands". There, success is possible, but the work is endless, and order is merciless. The characters' worlds pulsate in a common rhythm – that of a foreigner seeking his place under the sun.
